E-Mail #15 Clocks & Cake
Hey gang,
How is it hanging?
I had a bit of a low week, I'm really struggling to find the motivation or drive to do anything with my life and I'm coming down with a nasty cold!
But writing this makes me happy, and I hope you enjoy bits of what I share every week!
On with the show...
Tim Hortons
I had my first Tim Hortons!!!
I was in Cardiff at the weekend visiting my friend Poppy, and I remembered that there's a TH in the town centre. My friend Morgan swears by TH and suggested I tried Timbits for my first TH experience. I got a mixed box which included 7 different flavours, which I shall rank for you!
7. The worst flavour for me was the Birthday Cake bit, it was quite dry and too sugary.
6. Strawberry filled came 6th for me as it was rather artificial
5. Chocolate Glazed is in 5th, as it's basically just cake but taste nicer than the Birthday Cake
4. Apple Fritter was highly recommend to me by Morgan, but in bit form it was nice but not as apples as I expected.
3. Chocolate filled comes in 3rd as it's simple but has a nice chocolatey filling
2. Cruller comes in 2nd, which I described as being 'cinnamon' and pretty good
1. And the BEST flavour for me was Honey Dip, it's plain but I really liked it
So this video came up in my suggested, and I gave it a watch as I was going through all my recommended videos one morning, and the title really interested me. The premise of the video is that some guy woke up after sleeping and decided not to check the time. The video is pretty wild, and you feel like you're in on the mystery as the viewer doesn't find out what the time is till the guy does. It's pretty amusing, so I suggest you give it a go!
What I love about this segment is that I always discover some pretty amazing music videos for my favourite songs. This week, From Nowhere by Dan Croll takes the prize! This is an old song in my discography, but I was reminded of it when sitting in Tim Hortons (they had a pretty good playlist) and damn it's such a banger. The music video is simple but so good to watch. Catchy song, give it a listen.
I made this MBMBAM paper craft quote for a gift swap within the Candlenights Giftswap 2018 community. I'm pretty chuffed with it, as it took a while for me to nail the typography. I hope to do more quotes like this soon!
Alright chaps, thus concludes this week.
There's a chance that there may be a takeover next week, so make sure you return on Friday to see if it...happens!
See you next!
