E-Mail #12 Clean Slates & Iced Tea

It's #12!

Hello there,

I hope you all had a nice Christmas/Festive few days, and that you're feeling good about 2019 because I am! Especially as I write this on my first day of being unemployed (by choice) with a lot of hopes for the new year.

I want to better myself and my life! One goal of mine is to decorate this here home for E-Mail and continue to share content!

Here's my faves from the past week.

Tweet of The Week

Video Corner

I actually watched this video this morning and knew I had to feature it! I love Anna Akana, her videos are very introspective and have a very high production quality. They're pretty short videos, and this one covers her goals for 2018 in a really methodical way! I always say this, but if you can spare 4 minutes and have some of your own plans for 2019 but not sure how to organise them, watch Anna!

Song Crush

Song Crush this week is a new song from the newest Steven Universe update! I've been following this show for a good 4 years now which is kinda scary to recognise! This song iNSTANTLY hit the music part of my soul and made me re-listen to it many time. It's musically very different from past SU songs and it has such a clever theme and use of lyrics. It's kind of spoilers but also theres a complete disconnect in context so you can just enjoy this song as is!

Reviews

Y'all remember reviews? I'm back this week to sing the song of LIPTON ICED TEA because I'm a bit addicted to it.

I don't like tea. As a brit, it's almost sacrilegious. I like black tea and herbal teas, but I can't stand the 'do you want a cuppa?' tea. But I do like iced tea.

I only really started to drink it occasionally a few years ago, and a bit more excessively as they sold it at my university shop. Then I started to crave it on a regular basis.

Peach, the OG tea. The one I was introduced to as it was safe and I've never disliked a peach tea...thing. This is just beautiful. Refreshing, peachy, sweet, tastes very vaguely of tea. 9/10

LEMON. I love lemon things and flavours, but I'm always wary when it comes to trying it in new form. I tried this for the first time in a Japanese restaurant and was hooked ever since. It's great like it's peach cousin but has a bit more of a required taste. A bit more tea-y but delicious. 8/10

I want to try more!

Good News

Good news is that I'm starting 2019 pretty fresh. Fresh clean slate. I want to change my life, and a refresh was needed.

That's it for this week!

Just a reminder that I will be posting on the 31st with my 2018 favourites, and my darling bud Millie will be taking the reigns next week with her favourites!

Thanks for reading xoxox
