E-Mail #3 1999 & Toast
Hey pals,
This has been a pretty uneventful week, and I'm currently job hunting and having an identity crisis! Halloween is next week and I'm very excited, I love the holiday and even though I'm probably not going to a fun event or party, I will still have a whale of a time. #slicetober will also end on Halloween, if you haven't already, check out ellamasondesign for paper cutting!I'm thinking about going no-sugar in November so I might set out some goals for that month and chart my progress in this newsletter!
Alright, on we go.
Tweet of The Week
Anyone else go through that occasional phase where toast and butter is just the tastiest fucking creation on the planet and you have to restrain yourself from eating an entire loaf of bread in ten minutes or is it just me— chloe (@bpdprincessa) October 19, 2018
Video Corner
Video corner nearly coincided with Song Crush this week but I had to be decisive and pick two different things. This week on video corner is a music video, specifically the music video for Charli XCX & Troye Sivan's bop 1999 which I have watched countless times this past week. I sometimes get into the music video void where you just watch video after video and this one is a GOOD one.
Reviews
See, after the Lucozade reviews in Newsletter #1, I've been struggling to top it as I don't really consume a lot of different products in one week. So this week I'll be reviewing... the halloween decorations I bought for myself.
Poundland pumpkin lights - Really cheap, the connection keeps going and they're not very bright, but gosh are they cute. 3/5.
Studio Arhoj ghost candle holder - Was gifted to me a few years ago as a housewarming gift, a beautiful item that can both be spooky and just decorative. 5/5.
Tiger pumpkin garland - I'm a sucker for bunting or garlands, and I saw this in Tiger and bought it immediately as I love halloween decorations (can you tell???) and these pumpkins are so cute! 4/5.
Song Crush
This weeks song crush comes in the form of a video, as it's a delightful mashup video. Crazy Human Psycho Crush is comprised of 4 solo artists each perform their newest singles sat in a circle singing on top of each other till each song is interwoven with the others. It's quite something and they're all disgustingly talented.
And thats it for this week, folks! Have a Happy Halloween and I'll see you next week.
Buh-bye!
