Song Crush

I've found a lot of good music this week, one that really stands out is a medley of Over The Garden Wall songs by Liana Flores. I love a good soundtrack and mashup, Liana does a lot of mashups on her channel and she has such a nice distinctive sound.

Reviews

Last week I saw the wonderful Millie before she went off to Australia and we had a fun look around a local natural grocery shop, and we both decided to try some vegan jerky! I had the Texas BBQ and she had the Hickory Smoked. I've never had jerky before being a life long pescatarian so I was very intrigued by this. Okay it was WEIRD, slimy and very akin to jerky texture. A strong flavour which was nice but I couldn't eat a lot of it. 3/5. Want to try more!

Video Corner

This is a niche video, and it needs a little context! Last year I stumbled upon some kpop music videos and ironically watched a few, but then, I got hooked, and started to watch them un-ironically, and now I loyally follow the kpop band Red Velvet. Like a lot of Korean bands, they release music frequently and I've really gotten into the sound that they produce as it's so layered and musical compared to more western pop groups. This video deconstructs the production of their popular song Bad Boy. If you like music deconstruction or want to learn more about kpop, this might be for you!
