E-Mail #1 Lucozade & Homecomings

Hello dear reader,

You have chosen to spend a few minutes of your time perusing my little selection of fun things that I enjoyed recently! And for that, I would high five you if I could.

I'm Ella, a recent visual communication graduate, working in a cafe, with a lot of time on her hands. I was inspired to start this up by Ynte who has a fun weekly newsletter featuring memes, interesting links and dubious vegan tips and I was inspired to do my own!

Before I get this show going, I wanted to toot my horn about inktober and my papercut version of it! If you like paper, liking posts on instagram or just want to waste a few moments, check me out!

Okay, let's roll.

Lucozade(s)

Wow, the first segment! Lucozade!

A few weeks ago I was approached in the street by a Lucozade marketing team, and they thrust into my hand a sample of Lucozade and 4 coupons... Thus triggering a tasting experiment where I...bought Lucozade...drank it...and bought some more.

1. Orange

Orange! I always confuse this with the Original flavour. I bought this one first because I had a nasty cold and I normally only buy Lucozade when I feel ill. Tasty, can't beat it, a solid 4/5.

2. Mango

I saw this one when buying the Orange, but thought I'd buy it when I was feeling less rough. This one was very interesting and very sweet! Mangoey...sweet....I drank this a while ago, and I'd buy it again for the novelty alone. 3/5.

3. Cherry

This one excited me. I was in Boots and was very entranced when I saw it. I really like cherry flavoured things and this drink was very cherry and very tasty. Would definitely buy this again if cherry cola wasn't calling my name. 4/5.

4. Pink lemonade

I saw this one the same time I found Cherry, but bought it second. Why!!! THIS IS THE BEST ONE!!! This actually beats any pink lemonade I've ever drunk! I may be biased as I just finished the bottle but this was delicious and I want more. 5/5.

Tweet Of The Week

Song Crush

The song I'm really enjoying at the moment is The Stars - Taylor Knox which I heard on Kim's Convenience, a sitcom about a Korean family running a convenience store in Canada. It's pretty great.

Video Corner

This video came up on my recommended and I was bored enough to watch it, and I'm so glad that I did because I was transfixed for the whole video and I immediately needed other people to see it too because, well, if you watch it, YOU. WILL. KNOW.

And thus concludes my first E-Mail! I really hope I keep doing these because it was fun to compile! Let me know if you want to see more, learn more about me, or talk about Lucozade!!!

Bye!
